Dear SES Parents,

I am thrilled to share some exciting news about our recent March Madness Reading Challenge!

Our students have surpassed all our high expectations and read an astounding 150,506 minutes.  This is a remarkable accomplishment that demonstrates the dedication and enthusiasm our students have for reading.

Even more impressively, the students participating in the Doc's challenge read an additional 25,141 minutes bringing our total well beyond our initial goal of 175,647 minutes.

We'd like to recognize the following classrooms for their outstanding contributions:

1. In Fourth Grade the entire grade read 57,186 minutes and our grand winner was:

Mrs. Hamill, Mr. Phillips, Mrs. Costa & Senora Gomez Class,  who read 32,076 minutes

2.The entire third grade read 22,722 minutes with

Mrs. Henke, Mrs. Calarco, & Senora Sime reading for 9,979 minutes

Let's continue to inspire our children to read and explore new worlds through books!
